West Virginia Region’s Global Mission Partners:

Kimberly & Patrick Bentrott

National Spiritual Council of Churches of Haiti.

CONASPEH, made up of 5,000 churches, is an  umbrella organization for Protestant churches and associations in
the country. Established in 1986, it seeks to be not only an advocate for its member churches, but also a preacher
of the gospel to all peoples  everywhere, particularly those in the remote areas of Haiti, sharing Christ's suffering as
well his compassion for those in need. In that connection, CONASPEH, a long-standing partner of Global
Ministries, has in place several  programs all aimed at improving the lives of the poor by making it possible for
them to live a life of dignity and respect.

Kimberly serves as advisor for health care and diaconal projects and programs.  Patrick serves as advisor for
theological education and diaconal projects and programs.  We urge you to pray for them often, to follow their
activities through their personal weblog  and to write to them to share your encouragement.  Read their bio’s.

The ministry of these and all of our missionary friends is made possible through your gifts to Disciples Mission
Fund.

WV Men at Work in N’Awlins
Several men of the region spent time in the
Big Easy during February (Mardi Gras, no
less), and managed to keep themselves very
occupied with labors under the watchful eye
of Rev. Vance Moore, Director of the
Westside Mission in the Lower 9th Ward.

Details of the trip and many photos can be
found on their congregations’ websites, and
the men enthusiastically will tell their stories,
if you ask them.  Just talk to the men of
Princeton, Parkersburg and Beckley for
details!  You can read the reflections of
Nikolai Dalton, a Parkersburg teen who
worked with the group.

Plans are underway for a return
visit in February, 2010
